American Trucking Associations

The American Trucking Associations was a unique organization in 1933 when it was established by a National affiliation of state trucking organizations and it remains so today because it encompasses the widely diverse industry it represents – hence the “s” in  “associations.”  Shortly after its establishment, the ATA persuaded ALL for-hire members of the trucking industry to sign a code of fair competition enabling ATA to become the national voice for the trucking industry growing from a scant eight employees into the powerhouse of unparalleled  influence it is today.  Few industries have had such a powerful and permanent impact upon America, its economy, and its people, making  possible a new way of  life for  the people of America.

Scope of Services:

The American Trucking Associations engaged OLS Trading, Inc. to dispose of their assets in Alexandria, Virginia headquarters 8 story building, with over 700 people..

Outcome: OLS sold and removed all assets 7 days sooner than deadline reducing the hold over by $70,000.  By selling the assets in advance of the move, ATA received an optimal return on assets.

  • Well in advance of the scheduled move, OLS’ project management devised a plan to inventory, photograph, and sell the computers, information technology, business equipment modular furniture, warehouse racking and material handling equipment, kitchen equipment, private office suites, A/V equipment prior to the move by means of the AESI Process, through our direct sale method, export, and online sale.  We then put an accelerated removal schedule in place to decrease the removal time from 14 days to 7 days.
