American Petroleum Institute

API is the main U.S. trade association for the oil and natural gas industry, representing about 400 corporations involved in production, refinement, distribution, and many other aspects of the industry. The association’s chief function on behalf of the industry includes negotiation with governmental, legal, and regulatory agencies: research into economic,
toxicological, and environmental effects; establishment and certification industry standards; and education outreach.

Scope of Services:

API engaged OLS to liquidate all of the assets in their Washington D.C. Headquarters in four phases and they wanted to allow employees to purchase assets.

Outcome:  The project was completed on time, and they received a positive return on their assets.
