Altria

Headquartered in New York City, Altria Corporate Services, Inc. is a service provider to its parent company, Altria Group, Inc. and, in many cases, to the operating companies, including Kraft Foods, Philip Morris International and Philip Morris USA. Expertise and oversight are provided in functional areas such as Corporate Affairs, Finance, Human Resources, Information Services and Legal. An example of their role as a services company includes providing advice, assistance and communications to the operating companies in support of Altria Group's compliance and integrity initiatives.

Scope of Services:

Altria engaged OLS Trading, Inc. to liquidate all of its assets in a  850,000 square foot building it was vacating in Ryebrook, New York, with over 10,000 items.

Outcome: This project was completed in  two months, and Altria vacated the building on time, with substantial return.

  • OLS project management developed a timeline and project plan to account for 1/3 mile distance from one end of the building to the loading facilities.  We supplied adequate personnel to manage, monitor, and report back so as to adjust labor and trucking.

  • OLS successfully sold the modular furniture, audio visual equipment, private office suites and conference room, an entire health club facility, a grocery store, and doctor’s offices by means of the AESI Process through an online sale, private treaty sale, and CDRM (charitable donation recovery model)   We simultaneously identified unsaleable and unusable items and recycled and or discarded them.
